Westminster Reformed Church
Doctrinal Statement
Richard Ostella, Pastor
The doctrinal statement of the Westminster Reformed Church is the Westminster Confession of Faith (along with the historic reformed confessions and catechisms) with the exception that we practice believer baptism while acknowledging the validity of infant baptism. Membership in the church is based on the confession of faith in Christ as risen Lord, belief in the trinity, submission to the sixty-six books of Scripture (no more and no less) as the sufficient, inerrant, and final authority for faith and practice, and a willingness to be taught within the doctrinal framework of the reformed confessions (without a requirement of commitment on details). Baptism is also required for membership. Office holders make the same confession with the added stipulation that they must believe in the doctrines of grace as defined by the Canons of Dort.
